The First English Edition, published in 1895, was translated from the Second German Edition, published in 1 8 94.
This, the Second English Edition, which is a translation of the Fourth (latest) German Edition, is only a few pages less than twice the size of its predecessor. There have also been added 70 new illustrations, many of which are coloured.
